Convenience and flexibility with dimmable LEDs

A room’s lighting is one of the first things you notice when you enter in. Too much lighting can be uncomfortable. Not enough lighting can put pressure on the eyes. The best way to control the lighting in a room is by using a dimmer light switch. It will allow you to adjust the lighting to the perfect setting. For eyes that are sensitive to light, the dimmer light switch is greatly beneficial.

Benefits of dimmer lights

  • Dimmer switches save you energy
  • Lighting controls
  • Longevity of dimmer light

Dimming a light, can save you up to 89 percent in energy and up to about 10 percent on your energy bill, so the annual saving will be noticeable. You have total control over how much lighting is used in a room. When you reduce the lighting wattage, you have less wear and tear on the lighting which makes the life of the bulb longer. If you dim the lights by at least 25%, you will save approximately 1/5 of the electricity required. The softer the lamp fade, the longer the lamp lasts. You can give up to 4 years to a lamp that will usually last 5 or 6 months.

Vecta Design offers various dimmer products that will provide you a flexibility for the use of lighting in each room: for example, dimming to a lower level when the activity in a room changes during a social gathering or while watching a movie. Whether you prefer a table dimmer switch, a dimmer remote control or dimmer switch mounted on the walls, we will have a suitable solution for you.

Control the brightness of the room

LED technology is evolving rapidly. While energy savings are the leading reason companies and homeowners are making the switch, the other benefits include longevity, convenience, comfort, efficiency, and safety. Control one or several light elements in one zone (room) with different switchers or connect the lighting solutions of different rooms with one switch, for example remote control.

LED light strips are usually really bright. Depending on the purpose and functionality of the space, in the kitchen the maximal brightness of lighting is oftenly needed, but sometimes you may want a cozy, soft glow, for example in the living room, bedroom or other recreation areas in the building. The room`s light design is important, because the arrangement of lighting and the intensity of light can have a huge effect on a human’s well-being and mood.
